Harrington Starr Group is excited to hire a Marketing Executive / Assistant to join their award-winning marketing team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing in all its forms and be able to demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of core social media platforms (such as LinkedIn, Twitter/ X, and YouTube) and how to leverage their functions to grow outreach.
- The ability to understand marketplace demands and create content that reflects this.
- A growth-orientated mindset, being confident enough to use their initiative to get stuck in. Don’t be shy— all ideas are valued!
- A willingness to learn and seize new opportunities.
- The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to understand and work to deadlines.
- A basic understanding of video editing and appreciation of what makes good graphic design.
- Strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
Desirable but not essential skills:
- Any exposure to marketing automation tools
- Adobe Creative Cloud & Editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
- Lead generation experience
- CRM experience
Working with the marketing team, you will be responsible for:
- Editing and recording podcasts.
- The creation and distribution of marketing content across multiple channels.
- Marketing automation and reporting.
- Event planning.
- Social media management.
- Working on an in-house magazine and other downloadable content.
While relevant experience is a plus, we appreciate that skills can be learned so a strong portfolio and demonstration of character is equally important to us!
